Note that on the steam loco parts, TYPE A and TYPE B refer to compatibility of components due to the fixing positions of the cylinders onto the replacement keeperplate only and the length of the connecting rods in accordance.
This doesn't stop the use of either single or double slidebars with the cylinders or mixing other parts if you wish to modify them.
Even though the range has been designed around the Graham Farish outside framed BR Class 08 diesel shunter, the range of coupling rods, cylinders etc can and have been successfully used on various other makes of chassis's.
