Notes about kits 4SLK001 and 4SLK002.
Note that some Old Class I's was renamed as Class K's just to confuse matters about the prototype!
Check the rear wheelbase on your prototype,
if its shorter than the front, its a Old Class I
If the wheelbase is even, its a Class K.

4SLK001
Manning Wardle "Old Class I" 0-6-0ST.
Comprises of etched nickel silver body and chassis.
Etched brass specticle rims.
Whitemetal castings and lost wax brass castings where appropriate.
The kit contains 2 different smoke box doors, 2 different safety valve covers, 4 different cabs, the illustrated Manning Wardle version, weatherboard and cabs appropriate for Colonel Stephens locos. Shropshire and Montgomeryshire Rly "Morous" which later joined "Sidlesham" on the Selsey Tramway.

4SLK002
Manning Wardle "Class K" 0-6-0ST.
Prototype 6 inches longer than the "Old Class I" and was the most numerous loco type to be built by Manning Wardle.
The kit contains the same specification and variations as the above Old Class I except that it contains cab wise only the illustrated Manning Wardle cab and Weatherboard and also chassis extensions to create Colonel Stephens, Selsey Tramway "Ringing Rock".

Sentinel post war 100HP 0-4-0VBT Steam loco kit.
Built to compete and exceed diesels at the time, built from the late 1940's to the late 1950's, found at many industrial railways across the country and lasting into the 1980's.
The kit is etched in nickel silver with whitemetal cast parts.
Includes options for different sandboxes and type of rear cab
The kit is a complete package with wheels, all wheel drive gearbox with built in compensation to ensure good performance, a 1020 flat can motor and pickups.

Sentinel pre war 100HP 0-4-0VBT Steam loco kit.
Built from the late 1920's to the late 1930's, found at many industrial railways across the country and even the LMS owned one for use at Clee Hill, later passed to BR till withdrawn in 1955 as number 47184.
The kit is etched nickel silver with whitemetal cast parts.
Includes options for open or closed rear cab, steps and sandboxes, allows to build industrial or LMS/BR loco.
The kit is a complete package with wheels, all wheel drive gearbox with built in compensation to ensure good performance, a 1020 flat can motor and pickups.

Sentinel post war streamlined 100HP 0-4-0VBT Steam loco kit.
Built in mid 1940's, only 6 was built of this distinctive design.

Thomas Hill Vanguard Rebuild 0-4-0 Diesel loco kit.
These locos were rebuilds of the Sentinel 100hp steam locos carried out in the late 1960's by Thomas Hill.
